No Jail For Mel Gibson After Misdemeanor Battery Charge
Mel Gibson arrived�at the Airport Courthouse in Los Angeles, and pleaded no contest after being charged with misdemeanor�battery, on Friday (March 11).
Under the terms of his agreement, Gibson will not face any jail time, but �must complete 16 hours of community service (which will be at��the Mending Kids International facility), enroll in a 12-month domestic-violence program and pay�various court fees and fines.
The actor�also must obey a strict order to not annoy, harass or threaten anyone with violence while serving out his various punishments.
�Gibson was charged�with the misdemeanor �for ?willfully and ulawfully? using force and violence against his��ex-girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva, the mother of his young daughter.
