Authorities ID man who died after driving Honda Pilot off freeway in Burbank

BURBANK - A Sunland man whose vehicle veered off the southbound Golden State (5) Freeway in Burbank and overturned early Tuesday died at the scene of the accident, authorities said.

Ernesto Orozco-Lopez, 25, died in the 2:29 a.m. accident south of Scott Road, according to the California Highway Patrol and Ed Winter of the coroner's office.

The gray Honda Pilot Orzoco-Lopez had been driving was found off the road and had overturned, according to the CHP, which is handling the traffic investigation.
