Michael McIntyre: It was hard to find the words to support Amanda Holden after her baby tragedy
Michael McIntyre offered Amanda Holden his support
Michael McIntyre admits he found it difficult to console Amanda Holden after her baby tragedy earlier this year.
The Britain's Got Talent judge, 40, lost her unborn child in February while she was 7 months pregnant.
'It was hard to find the words to support her,' Michael, 35, tells Now.
'But that's a private thing. I never understand all the stuff that people say in the press.
'I only want to help her, so it's better to deal with her direct.'
Amanda has since revealed that she and husband Chris Hughes, who are parents to Lexi, 5, still plan to expand their family one day.
'I'm a naturally really optimistic girl,' she said recently.
'My husband and I, we're not dramatic people and although what's happened is obviously horrifying...we can go on and have more children. '
