Actress Hayden Panettiere sure likes sporty dudes!� Panettiere has reportedly moved on to New York Jets QB Mark Sanchez.

Hayden Panettiere recently split from her gigantic boxer boyfriend Wladimir Klitschko after 18 months of dating, and was recently spotted out in California with Mark Sanchez, 24.

Hayden and Mark enjoyed Memorial Day together at In-N-Out Burger with another couple.

An eyewitness revealed,� ?They seemed very close and very happy. When they walked out of the fast food restaurant, Mark was flashing a huge smile.?

Sanchez was reportedly seen flirting with the former ?Heroes? actress at a pre-Oscar party in February.� Hayden wore a red dress and chatted and flirted with the sports star for about a half-hour.

A painting Steve Martin bought in Paris in 2004 for $850,000 has proven to be a fake.

Hollywood funnyman and art collector Steve Martin has turned up in the middle of an art-forgery scandal in Germany after a painting he bought turned out to be bogus.

German investigators say a 1915 work Martin bought for $850,000 in Paris in 2004 was one of many forgeries created by a gang of German swindlers, Der Spiegel reported.

Martin - who resurrected the role of famed French detective Inspector Clouseau in a 2006 remake of the "Pink Panther" that bombed - tried to sell the painting 15 months later.

He ultimately auctioned off the work - purportedly by German-Dutch modernist painter Heinrich Campendonk - in 2006 at Christie's in London at a loss of nearly $300,000.

Martin is not accused of any wrongdoing. He told The New York Times that he didn't know he had a bogus painting until well after it was sold.

"You always have to guard against it," he said. "The fakers were quite clever in that they gave it a long provenance and they faked labels, and it came out of a collection that mingled legitimate pictures with faked pictures."

"Of course, they're all in jail now," he added.

Investigators busted the gang in 2010.

The expert forgerers are believed to have created dozens of bogus paintings - including Campendonk's "Landschaft mit Pferden," or "Landscape with Horses" that Martin bought.

They flooded European markets with the ersatz paintings and allegedly scooped up nearly $50 million in the scam dating back to 2001, authorities said.

Sean Kingston Was Going "REALLY Fast", Says Jet Ski Passenger

Poor guy. It's always hard when you hear stories like this and then it turns out it could have been avoided.

Over the weekend, Sean Kingston crashed a jet ski into a bridge in Miami while cruising the waters with a female friend. As of now, we've only heard that Sean is stabilized, but his jet ski cohort has come forward to reveal new details about the accident and how Sean could have prevented it.

Cassandra Sanchez is a longtime friend of Sean's and reveals that it was the singer's need for speed that got them into trouble on Saturday night when riding the waters with friends. She explains:

"Both jet skis pulled out of the dock at the same time and we were going so fast we just blasted past them. When we turned a corner and crashed ? they were so far behind us they didn't even see us crash."

She goes on to explain that Sean took them in the direction of the bridge "REALLY fast," but as they were racing, she implored him to turn around, screaming, "We can't fit under there! Are we going to try and go under there? Sean stop!" At the last second he did, but by then it was too late as Cassandra reveals Sean lost control and that's when they crashed.

What happened next seems like nothing short of a nightmare for them both. Cassandra remembers waking up in the water "in pain" and that their friends on the other jet ski came racing to help. Sean was pulled from the water, but he was in-and-out of consciousness, "coughing up blood, foam and pink stuff," and repeating the phrase "I'm hurting," over and over again. Finally, a rescue boat came and took them all to shore.

Cassandra's condition is fine, save for some sore ribs and her jaw, but Sean, she reveals, is still hooked up to machines and has a "tube down his throat" to help him breathe. However, she reports that he is "lucid" and responsive and with any luck, he'll be out of the hospital in a few weeks.

How awful! Really, very sad to think of someone so young in such condition.

We're still sending him all our prayers and best wishes for a speedy recovery.

I was thrilled to be able to judge the final presentations at the Entrepreneurial Journalism class at CUNY that is headed up by the one and only Jeff Jarvis.� Not only was it an impressive group of people but I got to do it with my husband, Fred.� First time we got to do something like this together.� Of course, we had to agree on everything....only kidding.�

Six of the presentations were entrepreneurial platforms and hopefully disruptive businesses and the other three were more journalistic content using the web as a platform.� I will give a quick run down of what we saw.�

Pique.� This was a site geared towards the celebrities and their fashion.�

Think if you were sitting on your couch with some friends watching the Oscars and you could start to comment on the clothes, bring in feeds, talk to friends elsewhere, pull items you liked and put them in a box to find out later where to get them.�

I liked this business.�� A little bit like Pinterest meets People magazine.

Silly Parents.� There are local communities for parents to share information.� Silly Parents would duplicate that in other areas giving information from what to do, where school is good, etc.� Didn't love this business and felt alot of what he was trying to provide was already been done on a variety of other sites.

Instablatt�� Live photos of breaking news by eyewitnesses that is curated from journalists on the ground.� Think of live twitter feeds, on your computer or handheld with photos as they are happening by an elite group of journalists who are crowd sourcing.� It wasn't that flushed out but I thought there was something there.

Gelotone� Personalized music news about your favorites bands including a discovery platform.� Think of Spin magazine but better on line.� Opportunities down the line to follow your favorite theater actor, etc.

Gourmeet�� Love the name.� A place where you can offer to share a home cooked meal at home and people would sign up to attend and pay a small fee.�

Think Meetup for home cooked diners.� I could see this working with young chefs or pop-ups.�

Linktamer� Personal curation of your news feed.� This is being done in many places so they would really have to come up with something so special that they would beat out the rest in this race.

Beyond Brussels� Writing and aggregating information for the European community about what is happening in Brussels in regards to the EU as much of that coverage has been cut out of the newsworlds budget.�

Cimmaron� A media site that highlights innovative alternative positive news in the third world.� I really like the concept.� One of the reasons I read Monocle is that I want to know what is happening in areas around the globe that I might not get a newsfeed about on a daily basis.�

We rarely see the bright spots coming out of third world countries and perhaps if we saw more of that we would find more people investing in these areas.�

Talk Cameroon�� Internet news for Cameroon on the political landscape and economy.� A country of people who need to get out from underneath a dictator as journalists are being beaten and living under death threats.� How to change that from outside the country and make that information available to the world.�

Some of these businesses might have very long legs others may not.� Regardless, each presentation was well done and thought out.� Impressive group and glad to know they have Jeff Jarvis looking out for them. The added bonus is that they are all trying to make their dreams come true in NYC.� BTW, they all used Prezi for their presentations.�

Over the Memorial Day weekend, stars remembered Grease and Taxi actor Jeff Conaway, 60, who died Friday after battling pneumonia, sepsis and drug addiction.

Conaway's manager, Phil Brock, said the actor was found unconscious May 11 after an apparent overdose of painkillers.

The actor appeared on the VH1 reality show Celebrity Rehab With Dr. Drew in 2008, where he admitted to being addicted to cocaine, painkillers and alcohol.

"Jeff had a good heart and was so very talented. He was a big part of our family for many years and he will be missed," said a statement from Grease co-star Olivia Newton-John, whose sister Rona was married to Conaway from 1980-85.

"Jeff Conaway was a wonderful and decent man and we will miss him," Grease star John Travolta said in a statement.

"He reminded me of one of my brothers and I reminded him of one his sisters, so we had a real family bond," Taxi star Marilu Henner told Entertainment Weekly.

Funeral plans had not been released as of press time.

Arnold Schwarzenegger was strictly a one household staffer type of guy -- this according to a former nanny who claims the governator had a wandering eye, but never got physical with her or any other female staffer.

The nanny -- who worked with Arnold and Maria Shriver during the Mildred "Patty" Baena years -- tells TMZ Arnold "was a flirt, but he never touched me inappropriately, or anyone else that I could tell."

The former staffer believes Patty must have aggressively pursued Arnold since -- as far as she could tell -- he was "respectful" of all the other female staffers.

The woman says many employees realized the resemblance between Patty's young son and Arnold -- but says Patty would only admit her husband was not the daddy.

BTW, by all counts ... the ex-nanny was more, umm ... attractive than Patty back in the day. Whatever that's worth.

Comedian Jerry Seinfeld has revealed he doesn't mind suffering sometimes because he thinks life is worth it.

Jerry Seinfeld doesn't mind suffering for his art.

The 57-year-old comedian - who is best known for his TV show 'Seinfeld', which ran from 1989 to 1998 - says everyone is constantly dealing with hardship but he thinks life is worth enduring for it.

He said: "I don't mind suffering. You suffer in all things - work, relationships, whatever else you do.

Unless you're eating ice cream, you're suffering.

"Unless you're eating ice cream, you're suffering."

However, he has no regrets in his life as he believes if he did it would be an "arrogant" thing to feel.

He said: "Regret is very philosophical and very arrogant. It's like, 'Things should go the way I want and when they go wrong something terrible has happened.' "

However, Jerry has not always had things go his way, and admitted there was a time when he performed to a room of people who did not even know he was there.

He added: "I once did a show when nobody even knew I was on. It was in a discotheque in Queens, New York. It was 1977. I went on and nobody stopped dancing. I stood there and did the show to myself."

Justin Bieber, Rihanna and other stars are expressing their well wishes to fellow entertainer Sean Kingston, who is in a Florida hospital after an accident on Sunday.

The Associated Press reports that Kingston's rep, Joseph Carozza, said in a press release late Monday morning that the singer, 21, was moved from the trauma unit to the ICU. He added that the family was grateful for everyone's prayers and support. Kingston is best known for his 2007 hit, Beautiful Girls.

While those living in the States enjoyed a break from work duties in tribute to military personnel, Robert Pattinson pushed forth with his demanding schedule on the set of "Cosmopolis" in Toronto on Monday (May 30).

Which Kardashian Will Survive the Apocalypse?

We heart the Kardashian clan just as much as some of you love to hate them! But instead of gushing about the goofy and often-glamorous gals, we decided to quiz them on each other: high school yearbook style.

We recently caught up with Kris, Khlo� and Kourtney here at E! Headquarters and had them vote which sis is smartest and sexiest and what not.

First up, we wanted to know, post-nuclear war, which Kardash would the cockroaches still be keeping up with?

The family votes: Khlo�. Duh!

But in case you haven't seen any of her on numerous reality shows ('cause if you did that claim is hardly debatable), Khlo� is the toughest due to her off-the-charts street-smarts and other brain powers.

We still say she's a force to be reckoned with who would kick the crap out of anybody in her way.

"I'm not like a he-man!" Khlo� defended herself. "I'm just the strongest...I'm incredibly street smart and savvy and like I have common sense and I can navigate everything."

According to the strongest K., her common sense extends to men, whipping up "a good dinner," and just, ya know, "everything!"

Khlo� may have the most street-smarts, but when we pressed her on who's the smartest of the three (after originally claiming that title for herself too), both she and Kris agree that Kourt is the smartest Kardashian overall.

Khlo� spilled, "Kourtney's incredibly book smart and just business oriented."

To which Kourt replied: "Yes. Thank you."

And as for the hottest Kardashian? We're sure we don't even need to ask, do we?

Kim, with a unanimous vote.

So will Britney, who's touring with rapper Nicki Minaj in July and August, say yes to the bizarre request?

?She knows Lindsay needs friends, especially famous ones, and that she's just looking for a chance to have fun on stage and surprise some of their mutual fans.'

If you don't remember Lindsay's attempt at a pop career in 2004, you're lucky.

Meeting to focus on DWP rates

The City Council hasn't yet hired a ratepayer advocate who could analyze any rate hikes proposed by the Department of Water and Power.

But, in a first-of-its-kind meeting, the council's Energy and Environment Committee and the civilian DWP commission will hold a joint meeting on Saturday to review the DWP's financial plan and its needs for future rate increases.

DWP General Manager Ron Nichols will make the presentation, which is expected to include a forecast of rates.

Councilwoman Jan Perry, who chairs the committee, said she sees the hearing as a precursor to the ratepayer advocate - officially, the Office of Public Accountability.

"I want to make it clear that we will not move ahead with any rate increases until we have the Office of Public Accountability created," Perry said. "What I hope this meeting accomplishes is laying out a clear understanding of what the DWP needs and what it is looking at."

The meeting will be held 9-11 a.m. in the Council Chambers at City Hall, 200 N. Spring St.

As for the ratepayer advocate, the council's Rules Committee is to get a report on Wednesday on the process for hiring for the new office. Perry said she hopes to see the new department in place by the end of the year.

City Controller Wendy Greuel is trying to mine city departments for more gold.

�

As in the Gold Card Desk, a little-known operation at the Department of Transportation, which was created to handle complaints

about parking citations.

At the Current Affairs Forum luncheon last week, Greuel said her office will investigate whether other agencies have similar programs that expedite or dismiss tickets and fines - especially those that fail to keep adequate documentation.

"So many people have said, `Are there others?"' Greuel said.

Greuel said her audit of the Gold Card Desk came to light as the result of a complaint from a whistle-blower. Some officials have defended the program as a constituent service with an indefensible name.

Feeling the love.

City Councilwoman Janice Hahn, one of two candidates in a July 12 runoff for Congress, is getting all sorts of warm and fuzzy feelings from Democrats around the country.

Hahn last week received endorsements from a host of fellow Democrats, including Gov. Jerry Brown, Lt. Gov. Gavin Newsom, Rep. Nancy Pelosi, and former presidential candidate Howard Dean. She also got the official support of Emily's List, the National Women's Political Caucus and Patricia Bellasalman, president of the National Organization for Women.

She also has been endorsed by Sen. Dianne Feinstein, Rep. Howard Berman and the California Democratic delegation in Congress.

Her GOP rival, Craig Huey, has received endorsements from Reps. Tom McClintock, Dana Rohrabacher, Ed Pence and other conservatives.

The two are vying for the 36th Congressional District seat formerly held by Jane Harmon, who resigned to become president and CEO of the Woodrow Wilson Center.

To politicians, they are referred to as "grips-and-grins" - fundraisers held at the homes of supporters, with a small group of potential donors as guests.

And, from the looks of it, candidate Austin Beutner will have sore hands for a while.

Beutner, who served for a year as Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa's jobs czar, has five events scheduled through mid-June.

One of the bigger events is scheduled for June 7 at the Brentwood home of former Mayor Richard Riordan. Two others are taking him outside the L.A. city limits - with one in Beverly Hills and another in Hidden Hills.

Greuel and Perry, who also are interested in becoming mayor, also have events scheduled: Greuel's is in Encino and Perry's will be in downtown Los Angeles.

Niecy Nash and Jay Tucker married Saturday at a vineyard in Malibu in front of 200 guests.

Niecy Nash is a blushing bride!

The former "Clean House" host wed electrical engineer Jay Tucker on Saturday in an outdoor ceremony at the Church Estate Vineyard in Malibu, Calif., according to E! News.

The couple exchanged vows in front of 200 guests, including "The View" co-host Sherri Shepherd, who served as a bridesmaid, and matron of honor Sheryl Lee Ralph. "The Game" star Wendy Raquel Robinson and "The Talk" co-host Holly Robinson-Peete were also included in the wedding party.

Nash's former "Dancing with the Stars" partner, Louis Van Amstel, attended the couple?s nuptials as well.

"The wedding was beautiful and of course it wouldn't be as special without Niecy Nash throwing in some humor," he wrote Saturday on Twitter. "You look stunning, Mrs. Tucker!"

"This was one of the best days of my life!" Nash told Life & Style after tying the knot. "It was a dream come true to be surrounded by family and friends as I married the most wonderful man. I celebrated so hard, I'm sure the angels in heaven were telling me to be quiet!"

Nash, 40, and Tucker became engaged last September after dating for a year. This is the second marriage for Nash, who split from ex-husband Don Nash in 2007.

Fans of the Style Network star will get a chance to watch a behind-the-scenes look of what went into her big day on "Niecy Nash's Wedding Bash," a two-hour TLC special airing on June 4.

Yesterday we saw a few photos of Lindsay Lohan suffering thru her first days of house arrest in her luxurious beachfront condo in Venice, CA. Today we learn that Lindsay isn?t merely relaxing during her house arrest ? she?s also making money. Lindsay posted for a few photos while smoking Blu Cigs electronic cigarettes (and reading scripts, apparently) in an effort to make a few extra advertising dollars while she pays back her debt to society. I mean ? of course.

Lindsay Lohan is making the most of her time under house arrest by reading scripts ? and endorsing a line of electronic cigarettes! A company called Blu Cigs sent around the posed pics today, saying Lindsay ?is determined to better her career and her health and has started using Blu Cigs as a deterrent to lighting up.? One step at a time.

So not only is Lindsay able to enjoy the spoils of her luxurious condo while being ?punished? for her crimes but she?s also making money while doing so? After seeing his high-profile romance with Jessica Simpson fizzle out, NFL star Tony Romo quietly moved on by starting a relationship with Dallas/Ft. Worth sports reporter Candice Crawford.

Working out as well as could be hoped, the Dallas Cowboys quarterback and the sister of "Gossip Girl" actor Chace Crawford sealed their love during a Dallas, Texas wedding on Saturday (May 28).

In what is perhaps the world's most high-profile relationship, it's Angelina Jolie who's skilled at getting Brad Pitt and their six nomadic kids out the door. "On the road, we're a military mobile unit," Pitt tells USA Weekend. "The kids have got their stuff down to one backpack, and they're each responsible for their own bag. Mom does the packing; she's quite gifted at that. Puts in just what we need ? nothing extra."

And the couple is open with their kids about everything -- even sex. "There are no secrets at our house," says Pitt, now starring in Cannes champ The Tree of Life. "We tell the kids, 'Mom and Dad are going off to kiss.' They go, 'Eww, gross!' But we demand it."

What intrigued me was the message stamped on the outer envelope of its solicitation: "Make one gift now and we'll never ask for another donation again."
