Gomez, Bieber get hot and heavy in Hawaii

Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber took their romance to Hawaii for a beachside vacation.

What a 180!

The days of Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber hiding their relationship from prying eyes are long gone.

The young couple has steadily increased public displays of affection, most recently getting hot and heavy while on vacation in Hawaii.

Just Thursday, Gomez, 18, and Bieber, 17, were photographed kissing in the ocean as he held her in his arms and she straddled him.

And that wasn't the only big lip-lock. Hardly.

The singer-actress and the teen heartthrob also puckered up while walking near the beach and even while on a jet ski.

It's all a far cry from an outing in December when the two literally ran away from each other when paparazzi caught them holding hands during a stroll in Miami.

It wasn't until late February that the couple finally confirmed the relationship by walking the red carpet together at the Vanity Fair Oscar party ? and even color-coordinated their outfits.

Last Sunday they took it a step further, with Gomez accompanying her beau to the Billboard Music Awards.

When Bieber was named winner of the Top New Artist Award, they immediately kissed despite being on live TV.

The day after the show, they headed out on their trip.

"Hawaii is so nice," Bieber tweeted Wednesday.

"Met a local named Samson 2day. good dude," he added. "told us that Aloha isn't just hello. it means affection, love, & peace."

By the looks of things, Bieber and Gomez have been giving "aloha" to each other quite a bit.
