Ralph Macchio Eliminated From ?Dancing With The Stars?

Actor Ralph Macchio once topped the leader board on the ballroom dancing show, but last night he was eliminated. Kirstie Alley, Chelsea Kane and Hines Ward will advance to the Dancing With the Stars finale.

Macchio said fans of he and partner Karina Smirnoff drove them through the competition each week, including two weeks ago when he danced through a knee injury.

?It inspired me,? Macchio said. ?I would run here every Monday for us to present what we worked on and I love that my gratitude is overwhelmed.?

Ralph told E! that he had a few regrets about the judging. ?At one point I regretted not saying certain things when I heard certain criticism from the judges. But a week or two ago I said, ?You know, I should speak up a little more,? because it was becoming evident that the playing field isn?t completely level. But I held back and I still think it was the right thing by taking the high road and not saying anything.?
