LOS ANGELES - Actress Eva Mendes today was granted a three-year extension of a stay-away order against a New York man she accused of stalking her since 2008. Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Carol Boas Goodson approved the extension of a previously granted temporary restraining order after hearing that the man, John Luna, was not opposed to it.

"I'm surprised he agreed to this, but his signature and initials are there," Goodson said.

The 37-year-old "Last Night" actress stated in a sworn told a judge she has been living in fear of Luna, who allegedly believes he is in a relationship with her. Mendes also stated Luna has been harassing her since 2008 and came to her Los Angeles home in May.

In legal documents, she states, "As a result of Mr. Luna's conduct directed at me... including references in a letter that he knows I am willing to die for him, and his showing up at my house on May 31st, 2011, looking for me, I am in constant fear."

The order requires Luna to stay at least 100 yards away from Mendes, her home, her car and workplace.

Mendes dropped her request for Luna to pay her $8,550 spent on getting the order.
