'Real World' alum Puck arrested for domestic violence

David (Puck) Rainey, seen above in 2008, gained notoriety as a 'Real World' cast member.LOS ANGELES - MTV's original "Real World" rogue is facing a new domestic violence rap after fighting with his wife at the couple's Mission Hills home, sources told the Daily News.
David Edward "Puck" Rainey, 42, was arrested June 19 and tossed in jail where he's awaiting a court appearance next Wednesday. His bail was set at $30,000.
The former bike messenger who got evicted by his MTV castmates for making gay jokes and sticking his fingers in the peanut butter married wife Betty Garcia-Rainey while filming the Real World Road Rules Challenge "Battle of the Sexes" in 2002.
Garcia-Rainey did not immediately respond to a message seeking comment, but her Facebook profile is filled with smiling photos of the 1994 "Real World" star and their three young children.
Rainey, 42, was arrested at their house around 8 p.m. the night of the incident and faces up to six months in jail and a $1,000 fine if convicted.
"They were arguing. If it was something really serious, it would have been charged as a felony," a source told the Daily News.
Last year Rainey was arrested on suspicion of drunken driving after being seriously injured in a car crash on a rural San Diego County road with his 8-year-old son.
"I had two shots of Jack Daniels, but I ate a sandwich with it," he later told RadarOnline.com. "They tested my blood alcohol and it was .03%, which isn't even wet reckless."
He was sentenced to a year in county jail in 2009 after pleading no contest in another domestic violence case.
