Calling all 'Hunger Games' fans! Entertainment Weekly has the first look at Jennifer Lawrence as heroine Katniss Everdeen in the upcoming 'Hunger Games' movie.

Lionsgate confirmed that the 20-year-old Oscar nominee for 'Winter's Bone' had landed the coveted role in March. She will star alongside Josh Hutcherson and Liam Hemsworth in the post-apocalyptic thriller, which follows the story of one girl's survival in a dystopian future where children are made to compete against each other in battles to the death.

Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, Lawrence revealed that she had mixed emotions about the part.

"I knew that as soon as I said yes, my life would change," she says. "And I walked around an entire day thinking 'It's not too late, I could still go back and do indies, I haven't said yes yet, it's not too late.'"
