Hef steps out with new gal pal

Hugh Hefner and Anna Sophia Berglund made their public debut Saturday at the Playboy Mansion.

This should come as no surprise: Hugh Hefner's got a new blond bombshell on his arm.

Just one week after learning fianc�e Crystal Harris had called off the couple's planned wedding, the 85-year-old Playboy mogul quickly found himself a replacement.

Hefner made his first public appearance with new gal pal Anna Sophia Berglund on Saturday when the two walked the red carpet together for a Playboy Mansion soir�e benefiting Japan's disaster relief efforts.

"With Crystal gone, Anna is my best girl," Hefner wrote in a tweet that he later deleted. "Anna is really one in a million."

"Anna is Crystal's best friend & mine as well," he told followers. "She's the one who helped me survive this past week. She's the best."

And while Hef later stepped back a bit, writing, "Anna is just my good friend," it's no secret the lethario is already back in the dating game.

"I haven't been in a one-on-one relationship since the end of my marriage in 1998," he tweeted Saturday.

In response to rumors he's been seeing Playmate and current Mansion resident, Shera Bechard, Hef confirmed, "It's more than a rumor."

As for his mangled engagement to Harris, Hefner wrote the two "remain close friends" and that she's visited him to see how he?s doing.

But, "after all is said & done, staying single is probably the best," he tweeted, "I think I just missed a bullet."
