See Who got Eliminated on 'Dancing' in Week Three?

In this third week of competition on 'Dancing with the Stars', there were some pretty clear front-runners and some pretty clear contenders for being the next contestant sent home.

For the second week in a row, talk show host Wendy Williams and her professional dancer partner Tony Dovolani received the lowest marks from the judges. They also had the second-lowest points total last week, just escaping elimination. In other words, Williams was going to need her fan-base to pull her through this week.

With every other couple scoring a 20 or better to Williams' 15, it seemed unlikely that someone else would be sent packing, but that's the kind of unpredictability and drama that reality television is made of.

Unfortunately, fans of that sort of dramatics will have to wait another week as for the second time in as many eliminations, the obvious choice was sent home. Wendy Williams is done with 'DWTS' and returns to her own talk show, where she'll surely dish all about it.

That isn't to say she didn't have plenty of words for tonight. We could have done without the excuses about how busy she is in her life, though she did own up to her weakness on the dance floor, which we respected. And she proved funny and charming in her departure.

"Despite stereotypes, this is one black girl who can't even do the running man," she said with a laugh, thanking her partner for all that he taught her.

While not the most graceful on the floor, Williams is a personality the show will certainly miss. But with her gone, the competition is much tighter and thus it's getting harder to guess who might be the next to go.
