10 Startups Created in 3 Days at Ellas 2.0 Startup Weekend

Ellas 2.0 Startup Weekend Madrid, the international event to build Internet startups in 54 hours, imported by Ellas 2.0 to promote entrepreneurship among women, was held last weekend in Madrid On Rails. 85 professionals (programmers, marketing, business, designers, etc.) attended and 36 were women.

The participants presented 33 business ideas but only 10 attracted enough participants to build a team to work on the project along the weekend and present to the Investor table on Sunday night.

These are the 10 business ideas :

1. PINCHE TOYS (@pinchetoys): a USB toy for children in the real & virtual worlds.
2. AP�RKALO (@aparkalo): a mobile Application to discover available parking spots in any city.
3. SUSCRIPTIA (@suscriptia): an online e-commerce platform to sell products by subscription.
4. ZOOMRY (@ZoomryHQ): a tool that builds a visual representation of an event twitter activity.
5. JOIN JOIN (@JoinJoinApp): a networking Mobile Application to meet other professionals participating in an event.
6. CINCO LUNAS (@5_lunas): an e-commerce platform to buy any product displayed in a hotel room.
7. MY ECO WAY (@myecoway): an e-commerce web directory for all types of ecological products.
8. GO POINTZ (@Gopointz): a loyalty program mobile tool.
9. SHAKE YOUR ART� (@shakeyouart): a web platform to aggregate all the content from artists across social networks (facebook, flickr, youtube?)
10. TAPEAMOS (@tapeamos): a tool to discover the best places for ?Spanish tapas? based on recommendations.

Pinche Toys, The Best Project

Pinche Toys was selected as the best project by the Investment table because of their market opportunity & unique value proposition.

The entrepreneur is Juan Ignacio Bagnato (A Coru�a), who built the team with Antonio Fern�ndez Alonso ?Xantomen? (Madrid), Jimmy Flores (Mexico), Clara S�nchez S�nchez (Barcelona), Juan Diego G�mez (M�rida) y Mathew L�pez (USA).

AP�RKALO was mentioned as the most innovative project & SUSCRIPTIA as the best team.

Another prize went to Zoomry, who was selected by LinktoStart to go straight to the final category to the Entrepreneurship training program.

Sage was a key sponsor for the event and provided 3 software management packages. Other prizes included: 3 nominations to LinktoStart training program, 3 qualified profiles for hiring from Wiseri, 3 Becodemyfriend incubation prizes, 3 entrepreneur coaching programs & 1 class from La Trinchera, profiles by 12 Designers & 1 hosting from Acens.
